The number of cowardly alts in this thread speaks to the sad state of drone region politics....

Or the number of alliances with gag orders in regards to CAOD
Good point, but that in and of itself shows something about the nature of those organizations. Pure for example and their gag-order...they think they are being all under the radar, that no one is noticing them grow and grow, and bloat with carebears...
Why do the fear drawing attention to themselves???

I love the "No sign of RA yet" posts...ummmm the first sign you will see of them is a cyno appear in local, then a bright light....or two...maybe three...

Coming from you John, that's quite a statement...I wonder if all your friends will be so quick to jump on the "attack RA" bandwagon as they were with the "attack Frege" bandwagon...something tells me, you might have trouble getting all of your 'friends' to put their assets on the line...
One way or another, looks like the Merc business is going to be heating up!! Funny how that happens...

Originally by: dastommy79 Hello mister pretend to know what he's talking about. A large portion of atlas are ex-fla pvprs and vetrans of the FOUNTAIN CAMPAIGN, CLOUDRING CAMPAIGN, FIX CAMPAIGN and the actualy fighting in the NORTHERN DEFENCE. I did more fighting against BOB and its allies in the first 6 months of this year then some of the southern alliances have for a year now. As ATLAS, we were never set blue by some of the major powers in the Southern Coalition. So its pretty hard to bring your forces down to fight without gettin knocked out by a "friendly" gang. Personaly i am in no hurry to move 80 some jumps to sit afk at a pos and wait for a fight. I would much rather pew pew close to home. So no standings= pew pew somewhere else. If things change then whatever.
I don't think he was referring to any one individual or corp but rather the respective alliances. Atlas is something new, and hasn't been formally part of the war, where FLA certainly was. I wouldn't take offense to the statement by Achaiah, it was a generalization of the alliances mentioned rather than corps or individual pilots...or at least that was my take...
The notion that the "Great War" is not the be-all-end-all of Eve is something I believe more and more pilots are concluding...and about time I say...more wars with different groups keeps things interesting, who wants to have a massive POS grind for another year vs the same enemies as last year???
For example, we love shooting Smashkill...but after 3 weeks of it, we were sick of shooting them and they were sick of shooting us...just no fun to shoot the same people day-in-day-out...even in the pursuit of the mythical Peoke kill, it just gets boring...a years worth of POS grinding seeing the same bad guys in local...YUCK!!!
I for one, hope RA and Friends go and fight with Smashkill and friends, because it would spice things up...all these stupid NAPs make 0.0 a boring place...

Two stations are up for the taking too.
Uh the sweet smell of irony in that would be just awesomeą
Than again this is all highly hypothetical.
So, what you're implying is that if some unnamed entity decides to attack chaos and atlas, smashkill wouldn't be interested in some good old fashioned pewpew right next to them helping out their friends and allies?
I think you need to ask yourself what BLAZIN has to say about saying no to pewpew and slugfests.
I think he basically told you it would be alot of fun if RA who doesnt have standings with CI or Atlas but does with Smashkill decided to take your stations...and you didnt have the help of the Smashkill blob...that he would find it funny...
I know my Russian isnt that hot...but that's what I read...
How long do you think CI and Atlas would stand without their Smashkill friends??? Think you'd do better than Frege did vs your uber blob?? Remember Ka-tet, also seriously blue with RA...
I can see much Russian LOL's coming your way...
Don't worry there is lots to do in empire if things go south...

last time this happened, when some entity attacked smash while blue to roadkill, well roadkill set standings to match smash standings.
you know what would be more interesting, if hypothetically in the possibly future, some alliance popped up with a name with a lot of XX's in it, full of obvious SMASHKILL alts in it, with blue standings to smash and allies but with red standings to some alliance who only have naps with us, and started pewpew'ing them.
oh wait, someone beat us to that idea eh..
its all very hypothetical yeah.
Why not stop posturing and start shooting??? Roadkill breaks for no one! Or does that not include actual PVP alliances who are more than use to the grind of massive POS warefare??? Or does such move threaten too many isks from your rather large carebear membership?

You could always hire us to help cleanse your ranks of Carebears, our rates are really rather reasonable.
Personally I agree with your points about large scale fleet combat...but it actually appeals to some people, it always seemed to me that Smashkill seemed to do rather well in the arena of monster fleet battles...
